1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- Time Frame: Returns must be initiated within 7 days from the date of delivery
- Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received them
- Packaging: Products must be in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and protective coverings intact
- Accessories: All accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and free gifts must be returned along with the product
- Receipt: A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or quality reasons:
- Software products with broken seals or activated licenses
- Opened or used consumable items (cables, adapters with opened packaging)
- Custom-built or personalized computer systems
- Digital downloads and software licenses that have been activated
- Gift cards and promotional vouchers
- Items purchased on clearance or final sale (marked as "non-returnable")
- Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or accidents
- Items missing original packaging, accessories, or documentation
3. How to Initiate a Return
Follow these simple steps to return your product:
Contact Us
Log in to your account and go to My Orders. Select the order and click "Request Return" or contact us at support@techmarketug.com
Get Authorization
Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with return instructions within 24 hours
Package Your Item
Securely pack the item in its original packaging. Include all accessories, documentation, and your RAN clearly written on the package
Ship the Product
Ship the package to our returns address or arrange pickup as per our instructions. Keep your tracking number for reference
4. Return Shipping
4.1 Who Pays for Shipping?
- Defective or Wrong Items: We cover return shipping costs if the product is defective, damaged on arrival, or we sent the wrong item
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs if returning due to change of mind or preference
- Exchanges: Return shipping is at customer's cost; we cover shipping for the replacement item

5. Refund Process
5.1 Inspection
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria. This typically takes 2-3 business days.
5.2 Refund Timeline
- If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Mobile Money refunds: 1-2 business days
- Bank transfers: 3-5 business days
- Credit/Debit cards: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
5.3 Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:
- Items showing obvious signs of use or wear
- Missing accessories, packaging, or documentation (cost will be deducted)
- Products returned more than 7 days after delivery (at our discretion)
6. Exchanges
We're happy to exchange items for a different size, color, or model:
- Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery
- The item must meet all return eligibility criteria
- If the replacement item costs more, you'll pay the difference
- If it costs less, we'll refund the difference
- Subject to availability of the replacement product
7. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged product:
- Report Immediately: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage
- Don't Use the Product: Stop using the item immediately to prevent further damage
- Priority Processing: Defective items are processed as priority returns
- Free Return Shipping: We'll provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange pickup at no cost
- Replacement or Refund: Choose between a full refund or free replacement
8. Warranty vs. Returns

9. Cancelled Orders
Orders can be cancelled before shipment:
- Before Shipment: Full refund within 3-5 business days
- After Shipment: Follow normal return process once delivered
- In Transit: Reject delivery and contact us for refund processing
10. Important Notes
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that don't meet our criteria
- Serial numbers on products and packaging must match
- Items must pass quality inspection to qualify for refund
- Fraudulent returns may result in account suspension and legal action
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
